Issy was born in Reading, UK. From a young age she has expressed a passion for art. At age 6, Issy's primary school teacher was impressed that she would draw the side profile of faces when drawing people. As a child, her favourite past-time was sitting at the table drawing with her siblings.

Issy has always enjoyed capturing portraiture of people and animals. Issy is passionate about animal welfare and ethical and sustainable practices in art.

Issy went on to receive a BTEC in Art and Design from Henley College in 2011 and an FdA in Makeup for Media and Performance from Bournemouth Arts University in 2013. 

In 2023 Issy began to work for Brushstrokes Courses and went on to become their daytime art teacher. 

She currently resides in Bristol, UK and is available for private Art Tutoring as well as during the day at Brushstrokes Courses.
